Founded in 1953, the UP Psychology Society is the oldest and most prestigious Psychology-oriented student organization in the university. With its 54 years of existence, UP PsychSoc has continually strived to maintain and exceed the highest standards of excellence through the implementation of its academic, as well as soci-civic activities, in fulfillment of its goals ad objectives keeping in mind the ideals of the college, the university, and human society.

As individuals, all members and alumni of the Society are equipped with skill, knowledge, and talent, bearing gifts of intellect and creativity. They are trained to seek and give the best that they can, inside and outside the organization, through their great efforts, confidence, and determination. However, UP PsychSoc is not just a pool of people, working as members of this organization, this Society is also a family. Bonded through close friendships forged by zeal and experience and strengthened by the challenges that await them, UP PsychSoc stands united in striving to maintain the high distinction set by each previous generation of members.

By keeping the members’ dedication to the Society and what it stands for, it can go as far as it decides to go, it can traverse all limits and reach all boundaries. Through the years, UP Psychology Society remains firm and steadfast in keeping the passion and excellence, in setting the pace and standards, and in continuing on, TAKING THE LEAD.
